At the moment the first 2 episodes is following pretty well the VN story, some small change already done for now, but I don't find it bad choice. Will be interesting how far they moved this one situation compared to original VN storyline. If you like the anime, really do recommend checking out the VN games as those will provide the full story and understanding of Utawarerumono trilogy.

One thing that I love about Utawarerumono is the grand scale of things, even in the VN the battles were good! And I'm happy the adaptation continues the tradition in bringing amazing large scales battles, can't wait for next week!

Hope they will dub this in the future. The MC VA doesn't fit the character
